Hey guys since we can't seem to get a sub-forum of Bimmer Rides & Body Styling for a photoshop section I decided to make a thread that will be bumped everyday until we get our own sub-forum. This thread will be for Bmw Photoshops and requests so post up. Credit to NorcalBMW for the name.

yah, iknow theres a lot of other things that need to be done aswell like the underside of the car and the top right
but i didnt put that much time into it...

my sigs. oh, and you guys, dont get lazy. if your going to blur the backround, spend some time cutting out the EXACT shape of the car. use the lassao (sp?) and use the keys SHIFT, or/and ALT to help you out. it will work wounders. I highlight all the backround, then right lick and select "layer via copy". then you have a new layer of the backround which you can place the affects you want on it, and then you have your car layer which you can mess around with seperatly. what I did with mine was desaturate the backround (make black and white) using CTRL+SHIFT+U. then, I did a gaussuan blur (the most useful blur in photoshop)

then, on my car, i went ti IMAGE, then ADJUSTMENTS, then AUTO COLOR.

that was it. sometimes ill up the contrast/brightness on the car too.

Actually to a mod if this thread is going well enough there is probably no need for it's own section since the thread is serving it's purpose :(

But it would make it so much easier if we could have a full section. Cause this thread is going to get sooo cluttered. People will have to search through all the pages to try and find certain pics.. If we had our own section, you just look for the thread title and get the pic your looking for.

Also, it would keep better order of the pics.. so there could be multiple users who do their own version of a Pshop of a car, then that original poster has all the different images of his/her Pshopped car all on one thread, not mixed in with all kinds of others.

Yeah the creation of a new section is definetly needed. Looking through this thread there is so much talent and potentinal. However if someone wants to find one particular image, it is very difficult as e36guy stated earlier.

A subforum, where threads are listed is MUCH easier to navigate through.
