I'm looking for a front sway bar for the E36 that mounts to the lower control arm. I upgraded my early 325i (strut mounted sway linkage) suspension. Oops. No swaybar linkage on the Bilstein struts. Damn. Help!!

Bump...

Somebody has to have an old OEM sway bar that they would part with.

I found a local guy that has one that I'm going to take a look at. I'll let you know if the deal is a wash. Thank you for your reply.

Jason,
The M3 bar linkage attaches to the strut, up under where the spring sits. The funny thing is that the EARLY (pre-10/91) E36s had the same sway-bar set up as the later '95 M3. My problem is that when I upgraded my suspension, I was unaware of this quirk. The Bilstein-Sport replacements didn't have the sway linkage mounting point. I'm not going to buy a set of M3 Bilsteins... ($$$), so I'll just replace the sway bar. So, I'll need the non-M3 bar.

Thank you for your reply! Much love to all those who check out the WTB section. There should be a holiday in your honor!!
