GT1 Brand Wheels? [Archive] - Bimmerforums

Does anyone know about this brand/model wheel?? I saw some on a car that was in from Kansas today, and they were absolutely stunning. They were 18x8 in front and 18x9 in back with a five spoke pattern, mounted on a 330ci with 35% tints. Does anyone have any information on this brand of wheel?

Apparently these are SSR wheels. Does anyone know about quality on these?

Beautiful, lightweight (~17.5# for 17", ~19# for 18"). There are a handful of people on the forum with the GT3 (three-piece version of the wheel) but I have never seen a BMW with the GT1's. I cannot comment on quality - I don't know.

I have been pricing these if you want a head-start in shopping for them.

I'm in Glenview, and have GT3's on my M3 19X8.5, and 19X10.

I was leaning more towards the GT1 wheels, because I like the look without the fancy stuff on the rim. I see that the GT1 wheels only come in 18" or smaller, so I guess I know they will fit.

The GT1's are a few pounds lighter each than the GT3's. Considerably cheaper too. But you don't get any polished lip.
