Question for the wheel gurus on the board

My tires(shitnental) are about to die and I'm going to replace them within the next couple of months, but while I'm at it I think i might want to try to pick up a couple of 8.5" rears to put on my front wheels to run the same width tires all around.

My question is, can an e36 m3 run 245s in the front without rubbing??? I am planning to use Kumho MX's and will be lowering the car soon with a GC coilover setup with Koni SAs....

i'm sure this topic has been posted before but the responses i saw before did not seem that clear to me.

thanks in advance!

Yes, you can run 245's on front with 8.5" wheels with the stock 41 offset. But you may have to use 5mm spacers and longer stud bolts or studs.

With the GC setup for sure w/o spacers. Not sure on stock. I've heard folks report no fitment issues, others 5mm spacers.

I'm running the the setup you are inquiring about but with H&R Coilvers.. and need to run a 15mm spacer.
