MY friend Phil, Luvmy328is, is running 235/40 series tires on his car. He has the same suspension setup with 18x8.5 inch rims. Im not sure of his offset though. He aligns his suspension to M3 Spec.

I have Bilstein PSS coilovers, 17x8.5" and I have 235/40 tires. I have plenty of room in the rear (1/4) before even coming close to the fender.

Though, the front I had to run a spacer to be sure not to hit the suspension setup.

i have 18x8.5's...

w/ 225 tires i didnt rub in the rear
w/ 235 tires i do rub occasionally on big bumps/dips

my fenders are NOT rolled
my suspension is stock and very loose so that could be part of it too
