#1... It really quick off the line... well not really quick, but quick enough. I was at a traffic light the other day and the guy in the ice-cream truck next to me was egging me on for a race. He thought he could take me. (Sometimes you're just in the mode). He's creeping up past the line. I roll up to the painted line and just wait for the light. I hear the put put put of his engine waiting as well. I bring up my RPMs to 2k. Light goes green and I see the ice cream truck lurch ahead engine spiting and firing like no tomorrow as all the icream falls in the back of the truck. I jump off the clutch in a hurry and the back tires start spinning. oOps... I forgot, I'm on Kumhos now, they can't handle a 2k rpm clutch drop. I hold the pedal down anyway spinning the tires through the entire intersection as the engine redlines 1st. A quick change to second sends the tires spinning again. I check my mirrors for the ice cream truck... he's really far behind and I see him waving his hand out the window. I roll off the gas and continue on my merry way.

#2 - It cruises well...
I'm getting on the highway (same day) and it's reasonably late in the afternoon... on a pretty desolte highway in Florida (US.27). I'm crusing at a respectible 10 mph over the limit... when behind me I see a Merc Benz coming hard. I mash 5th in an attempt to try and gather some speed before he pulls even. I crawl up to just shy of triple digit speeds when the Merc passes me. I continue to gather speed (kind wish I had the turbo here). I eventually level out over the triple digit speed marker. Crusin' with the Merc Benz. We continue to cruise at super sonic speeds for about 10-15 minutes before I reach my exit. I increase speeds a little to get up next to him. I give him a small honk and a thumbs up before slowing down for my exit.

#1 - My car is quick... real quick (especially against an ice-cream truck).
#2 - My car cruises nicely at subsonic and supersonic speeds with ease.

Gotta love German ///M Power.

i love my car cause it's one of the fastest street cars in tampa, but has the poise and grace of any midsize luxury car around... kind of like the best of both worlds....
you want to go fast? and you want to turn on your leather heated seats while listening to the cd player, no problem,, would you like the sunroof open or closed?
i also love that turbo sound, i cant explain it,, but
when it makes the front end go up and it pushes me back in the seat,,, there is not a whole lot that compares!!
