I'm looking for a S52 3.2L short block (block, pistons, rods, crank). Will consider a long block too if the price is right.

Shoot me a PM or e-mail if you have one or have a line on one.

Thanks guys!

I been putting 3 series engines together for quite a while and never seen a short block or a long block. All of them have 6 cyl. and can be bore out to 3.4 no matter the year their head are interchangeable.:confused

Can you explain what is a short block?:confused :confused :confused

Huh? A "short block" is a general term for any engine with a complete bottom end, no head, top end, etc. A "long block" is usually a complete, almost turn key, engine.

They are both general terms for all engines not just the S52.

Cool:cool , thanks for the info:) , I just get lost in the translation. I have call a short block a block w/a bottom end, and the long block just a engine or motor.

I had a tough time finding an s52 crank without a block, so make sure you get one in the deal.

i need out of my garage quick. it only needs intake manifold/vanos/fuel rail cover/plastic valve cover/mounts/brackets. i can provide all the parts that are damaged except for vanos, but u should find one for about $200.
