mini supercharger pully install?

anywhere i can find a DIY on how to do the s/c pully swap? i heard it was tough and had someone ask about it... thanks guys.

Not really tough if you work on your M3 yourself. I used to work on my M so swapping the pulley was a cinch for me. Well, maybe cuz I have a mechanic friend who has the right tools too. :D

what the hell you accually gotta pull the charger outa the car to change the pully? man.

yeap, but not really...just lift the engine up enough so you can change out the pulley. it's really not pulling the engine out. i was scared too but when i was actually performing the work, it's really not that bad. when you lower the motor back down, it basically goes right into the motor mounts slots. you don't need a engine crane, just a good jack with a wooden block between the motor and the jack.

so disconnect it from the mounts, or leave everyhting together and just throw a jack under it?

yeap basically that's about it. check that forum above for specific details. I remember before removing the motor mounts, you have to remove the airbox.
