Got walked for the first time:(

Well on my way to work tonite, in Nashville, a Bullit mustang goes by me at a good clip so, I catch up to see if he wants to play... I could tell he was thinking about it, looking at my car and assuming, he was going to just kill me. I felt confident I could take him easy and leave him :eek: , I have a few Z's, some rice here and there, and a 96-98 Cobra (the other nite) under my belt.

So I persist and drop to 4th, jump a little, and nothing.... then he jumps about 3 seconds later, I had just given up hope, I floor it and stay with him, perfect shift to 5th, but he's walking me, WTF!, we did two more to about 120 and every time he would start walking. I'm fairly sure he was in 3rd on the jump while I can't go that low at 75, if I could I thing I may have gotten a 1/4 car lead, but still would have been walked on.

The car had a DiabloSport sticker, so I asked a buddy at work, mustang guy, if that means anthing. He said that the guy most likely had some good work done to the car. Having ridden in mine, he said it should have been an easy kill, ohwell, gotta die sometime.:(

BTW: e30 ('90) w/ s52 obdI conversion, chipped (need a new one tho to get 7200k limit), retro-fitted obdII m3 exhaust for the e30, cone filter. Most of the tar is removed. 4 x 4 'in currently.

Yeah, trailer-park trash that they are in the fit & finish department, it's takes little money to bolt some serious power onto those. There's so many of them out there because of their low entry price and people willing to overlook piss-poor build, that the aftermarket is flush with bits.

As always, you only have to remind yourslf that at the end of the day he's in a Rustang, and you are driving a Bimmer. :D
