Yes, the 540i Sixer is a monster on the freeway when it hits the sweet torque @ 3400 RPM, from an 80mph roll. I cannot believe how fast this car really is. It is an Anti-terrorist, Diplomat, Executive Shuttle, AutoBahn Interceptor. The E39 also has a special aerodynamic way about itself. I pushed an S2000 hard from an 80 roll,,,,I mean really hard. Side stepped and went around with no problem.

Agreed. However, I do a lot of highway driving and the amount of road grit/sand/salt up north is extraordinary. So... The bra is a necessary praticality. Hell, I've already replaced foglights and headlights purely for aesthetic value because they became to dinged and sandblasted. The Northeast is rough on cars.

You need to learn to read. I said it pulled pretty hard at first and that I was surprised, thus I'm sure it had more than a "fart can." I'm not sure what is BS about this story but I assume you aren't really claiming that I made this up. Furthermore I'll race any integra that's "done right" and as long as its not really expensive FI, I'll happily watch it disappear in my mirror. If you want to talk expensive FI then I suggest you compare FI'd Integras to FI'd 540s. As for you pissing on my v8, while you're doing that why don't you carry a couple of passengers. Or... Better yet, why don't you go for a nice long drive in the freezing rain or snow. Motorcycles and cars are two different things. Comparing them makes about as much sense as comparing a bullet train with a car or a motorbike with an airplane.

By the way, stock for stock I have raced and beaten a large majority of the honda/acura line including the S2000 and the NSX (older model). So chill bikeboy before I decide that instead of racing your bike I'd rather just drive over it. Crunch.

So my girlfriend and I had just eaten out at this Italian place we both like. It was very good and we were tooling home on the freeway in no particular hurry. Suddenly with little warning we came upon a car going slowly, at around 25mph. Dropping it into third under braking I slipped around this guy. As I did my engine revved fairly significantly.

As the farts echoed across the lonely freeway, and the night sped by overhead, I weighed my options. Downshift? Mash the gas? Let it go? My girlfriend made my mind up for me (as usual). “Well?” she said. “Good enough,” I thought. So I mashed the gas without downshifting.

Before we reach the exciting conclusion, I’ll give you a word or two about the competition. It was a pre-90’s Acura Integra. However it had so many body kits it was almost unidentifiable. It looked to be a bondo job and all in all it was fairly atrocious. Yet, in its defense it must have had some engine work done because it did take off quite quickly.

So where were we? Ah yes... The night sped by overhead and the farts rippled in sharp splitting waves through the damp air. I mashed the gas at 40mph in 4<SUP>th</SUP>. Meanwhile the Integra bondo masterpiece was around 4 carlengths ahead. He continued to pull slightly as I accelerated. For a few seconds he was pulling. Then for another few seconds he maintained his 4 length lead and I could not gain. Then I hit 3,800 rpms and I moved on him so fast that he seemed still. We took the next exit and he gunned it ferociously as he passed us, again assaulting us with farts.
