Yellowing Headlights

My OEM headlights are starting to yellow and I've heard you can buff it back to clear with some 3M rubbing compound. Has anyone done this?

Yes, i have done this on several cars and it will definately help. Clears up all the small scratches and discoloring. Definately worth the 10 minutes and couple bucks it takes to refresh an old set of lights.
