If I could pick this car up and throw it out the window, I would. That's how frustrated I am. About 6 months ago, my brother helped me install a new thermostat in the car ( I was doing the fan delete ). I thought everything went well. I never really got a chance to test the car out after that because I tried changing the breaks and I couldn't get the 2 front caliper mounting nuts off. I tried almost everything. I took the car up to a shop near my house but the guy wouldn't touch the car because I had messed with the breaks already and he didn't want to be held liable. I really didn't want to deal with the car so I let it sit there for about 6 months. The guy only charged me $100 for the storage. I was relieved to say the least.

Anyway, so I get it back in my driveway and I jump it to charge the battery. I leave it running a while and everything seems normal. I go inside and let it sit for another 10 minutes. I come back out and the temperature gauge is a quarter short of being all the way to the right. I look at the front of the car and I think coolant is leaking and the coolant tank is bubbling viciously. You can hear it bubbling, I think it's still bubbling right now.

What does that mean? The Thermostat is not working? Do I have to replace all the hoses, get a new thermostat and flush/refill the coolant?

I did put the Water Wetter in there.

I still can't get those caliper mount nuts off. Anyone have any tips on that while I'm here? I got the Craftsman bolt out set and that didn't work. A friend of my brother's told me to use an acetylene torch to heat up the surrounding area and then try to remove it. Also heard about using air chisels or gas axes. Not sure what to do.
