just saw a C5 corvette smoke a newer M3 !!!

i was behind these guys, a newer vette late 90's early 2000 C5 pulls up to an M3, looked like a 2003, light turns green and i thought the M3 was gonna take off on the vette, but 2 seconds later i see the vette pulling away pretty good, i was really hoping the M3 would smoke it, i guess not ,but it was a good race .

thats what i thought first, until these guys shifted into second gear, not sure if the vette was an auto though as they took off pretty fast ,heard the M3 chirp tires in second gear (sounded really nice), i thought the M3 was at least gonna hang with the C5, but until the M3 shifted to second i seen this vette pulling really hard. it looked like he had a few cars on him but they just went too fast for me to really tell after that.

It's funny because C5 Corvettes have more horsepower & lighterweight & they pull slower times out here in las vegas at our 1/4 track than the E46 m3s do which is weird lol...

i would know a zo6, it has a different rear window and has the side vents and this one did not.

Down low it may be close, but after ~90, the C5 would pull away.

Who would've thought? Pretty much everybody on this forum, since we have E36 325i's beating STi's and Evos, 318s hanging with S4s, and E36 M3s putting "buses" on pretty much everything out there.
