installing angle eyes and depos (QUESTIONS!!)

so umm, I have the gray wire on the harness spliced into the parking wire on the turn signals. but I still have this big long wire, I think that is supposed to go to the angle eyes. it came with "instructions" the most simple diagram I have ever seen. It shows that it is supposed to go to the battery!!?!?!?! I sure hope I dont have to wire this thing through my entire car to the back where the battery is!!!! where/what do I do with it??? how can I easly wire it to the battery withought actually wireing it to the battery???? :rolleyes

On the ones I installed the grey wire goes to the parking light wire.The one thats hot.

Im sure you are talking about ground. Just tap into a ground source. You can tap in on your low or high beams, or the parking lights.

im pretty sure the way I have it will work the exact same way, seeing as how the turn signals light up with the partking lights, ya know? but I need help with the other thing.,..

im pretty sure im not. there is an extra harness type thing. its really long. it has an end that needs a positive and negitive. both have metal tips as if they are supposed to go under screws.

I don,t think mine had a ground wire.They just had one grey wire coming from the headlights.

All I did with mine is unplug the old lights remove them.Then I just plugged in the new ones Then i found the wiring harness on each side.I think theres like three wires in the harness but I used a test light to find my hot one.Then i spliced the grey wires on the headlights and attached them to the hot wires in the harness and they were on.

Did yours come with the angel eyes already installed?Thats the way I got mine.

oh man, im so confused. I looked up the colors for the euro harnesses on Umnitza (althought I did not buy them from there).

the right one turns on the bright when I turn on the parking lights. The left one stays off

when I trun the city lights on, the right city light goes on, the left birght goes on, and all the angle eyes go on, but really really dark.

then I turn the brights on, the left city light comes on, but its really dark, the left birght comes on, and the right city light goes on, and none of the angle eyes go on.

***THIS is the wireing similar to how Mike wires his, withought using this extra wire that came with mine and there are a red and a blue wire int he back of each headlight that are connectted to eachother, which otherwise would be connected to the extra wire thing...

See mine only had the one grey wire coming from each headlight.So I bet you have to wire yours differant than mine.
