Would 17x9 et18 all around be fine on an e34? Also what size tires would be ideal to run? Any rubbing issues if the car gets lowered? TIA

Heres a pic of the rims I plan on running.

For some reason that offset will not work in the Continental US, but it will work in Hawaii. I believe it may have something to do with Hawaii's proximity to the equator.

Care to sell those now useless wheels? ;)

lol stop trying steal wheels off members..

you shouldn't have any problems running 17x9 on an e34. I run 235/40 18's on 8.5 rims all around, lowered and still have a fair bit of space. et 18 as well i believe.

Agreed, Beastmaster is lying to you. What he meant to say is that the wheels only work properly in Philadelphia. Something about extrodinary geometry of our pothole filled roads. Better send those gorgeous rare rims over to me.

Where did you find them? They are a fantastic rim. They look sick with a black painted center too!

Very nice find on those wheels! They will look great.

They should fit just fine. If anything, you may need a slight fender roll depending on what tire size you choose and if you have lowered your car.

Haven't seen a set of thos DP wheels made for Dinan since I had a set years ago.

Your potential for rubbing depends on what tire size you use. You should be fine with 245/40-18 all around, but that width can look sucked-in a little on a 9" rim. Ideally, a 9" rim would us a 255 tire, but that can affect steering feel when used in the front.

Interesting thing about those wheels... if I recall correctly, they're a "double drop". This means they are using the cast center designed for a 16" wheel, but with an oversize lip on the barrel that makes it 18". This was very common back then when aftermarket wheel sizes suddenly started expanding... 16" used to be the "big" wheel!
