There is a set of DSIIs that i really dot want to pass up, butthe set has yokohama A032Rs on them, i understand these are DOT approved competition street tires(or something)....anyone have any advice...The car will never be tracked

You can run them on the street. I tried a set years ago.
They sound like buzz-saws tho. I didn't find the grip that much better than a good street tire either.
That's because you are not heating them up enough on the street :)

Wut about tread wear? Am i going to replacing them very soon? So far the only negative seems like that they are loud...
I dont know what to do, I have to decide by tonight

They will wear faster than a street tire, no doubt about that. I would probably guess you would get anywhere from 5-10k miles on a set if it is street only miles. I think they sound like 38 inch mudders on a lifted truck.... :D

The A032Rs sound like farm tractor tires on the interstate--noisey. They're no good in a downpour either--they hydroplane badly. As a track tire they're merely ok (at least with the hard compound--soft compound might be better).
