e34 suspension question

Ok guys, another noob question for ya: How would I be able to tell if my e34 540I/6 has the sport suspension or not? Is it in the ride height? If so, do lowering springs still lower the car, and if so, how much? Thanks!

Do you have the sport seat? you should if sport seat is in the car. sport springs only drops the car about .6 inch.

Aftermarket springs like Eibach or H&R will always drop it. usually about 1.25 in or so..

Ok, another dumb question.... how do I tell if I have the sport seat or not?

Don't quote me, but I think the sport seats are the ones that have the electric knee bolster that retracts.

Also, if your front seats have an armrest then you do not have sport seats.
