I just purchased some 18x8'' superleggeras from a private seller. He did not include any hubcentric rings... Will i need to purchase some? If so, how much do they cost and where can i get them?

Or do i already have hubcentric rings with my stock setup?

Thanks

btw, i have a 1998 M3 4 door.

I would guess that the OZ wheels have the correct size hole to mate to the hub on your car. It should be easy to measure to make sure.

I know they have the correct hub size, but I am wondering if my car comes stock with the hubcentric rings which fit on the actual hub.

"Hubcentric" means that the wheel is centered to the hub by a protrusion that is part of the hub. The reason that some wheels require rings is that the hole in the wheel is too large and is not a close fit to the hub. The adapter rings fill up the gap between the wheel and the hub.

Maybe I am not quite sure what you are asking, but your hub has the protrusion, and I *think* that the OZ wheel is the correct size such that adapters are not necessary.

It will become clear when you take your wheels off and look at the hub.

Superleggera's look awesome on blue cars :)

yeah I'm almost certain they are already fit to the hub. Tire rack sells them for the e36 and they generally do not spec them for your car if they take rings.

here's a picture of a spacer with is hubcentric just for an idea

Hey guys, many thanks for the help!

I obviously didn't quite understand what the rings were, but the seller mentioned that he didn't include them.

Anyway, the superleggeras are mounted and hopefully i can get some pics tomorrow! They look amazing!

The only problem is that i find many people staring at my car for long periods of time :devillook

The superleggeras are very light, i was impressed. Hopefully they'll withstand these dallas roads :dunno

Thanks again
