I just found out about this. Has anyone heard of this meet? Anyone from Bimmerforums going? Sounds like it would be fun.

Here's the URL:

Yup, there's a handful of us SD M3ers caravanning up. We'll see you there:D

Gio, good to see you back here. I'll be there but not may E36's going from here. I posted in General forum and got one Psk responding. I'll be there. Maybe we can finally meet up.

There's caravan meeting at the Costco/In & Out burger in the Marina at 9:30. I probably won't make that but it's pretty big.

Hey aus, sorry I didn't get to see you. It was a nice event. Man, my E36 M3 felt like a hand-me down, compared to the massive number of shiny new E46 M3s!!! So many of them, different colors, combos. It was a great event, free food, and great cars.

Thanks to Creview BMW for sponsoring the event. Look forward to the next M3 Generations meet.

And here's a link to the pictures and there's my car! :)

SPAM! j/k. . .

Talk about being outnumbered! E36s were, like, 5% of all attending!

Big thanks to Crevier BMW for putting this together.

Sup. Did you park in the lower lot? Pretty sure we had the only Estoril M3s yesterday. Something unique in a sea of Ms.

This was a cool meet. We got there at 11:10 and were the last few to park in the lower lot. People were parking in the lot across from the lower lot. It was a crazy number of cars. They got to do this in some HUGE parking lot next time.

Thanks Andy and all the sponsors for a great meet.

Yeah there were only 2 other Hellrot Red (E36) ///M3s. And 2 Dakar Yellow E36s as well. It's good to be different. I agree with aus, they should have it in one BIG parking lot.

If you guys have a suggestion for the new location, I'm all ears... I had problems with setting it up at Irvine Park. Don't mind moving it at all...

Also, send me suggestions of what else you would like... some are asking for a drive...

Thanks for the great turn out! Next year is gonna be even better!

Edison Field?

Irvine Meadows?

El Tora MCAS? (SCCA uses that for Autox,
and it is BIG)

Otherwise, Irvine Park seems like a nice area.

I tried both El Toro Marine base and Tustin Helo hanger... no can do. They are not taking any new reservations. Would've been awesome to hold the meet in that hanger huh?

As far as the Edison Field and Irvine Meadows, we need to block it off... not sure if they will let us. I was thinking the beach for the next one, but it may be too cold???

Ideally it would be a huge parking lot that we could control parking for.
