Per the Bentley manual:
P1421 - Secondary Air System Bank 2
P1423 - Secondary Air System Bank 1
Which means that the Secondary Air System that injects additional air in to the exhaust on a cold start isn't functioning. Since both banks are affected, the cause is either the pump or valve.

had very same deal not too long ago, replaced sec. air pump, had advanced auto parts employee reset light, currently no issues. Now when I start my car there is a vaccuum cleaner noise for like 3 minutes. Had I not been due for emission test I would have waited to repair it- the pump is not cheap. Try ebay for a secondary air pump if money is tight, I got mine from a 25k mile car for 50 bucks shipped versus nearly $300 (uninstalled)dealer.

Hey, this is off topic but how much did autozone cost to check it?

Unless you are in a state that does a DME check for emissions related faults, a failed Secondary Air system isn't a problem for an emissions check by sniffer test. You'd be testing the car while hot and the Secondary Air system only runs on a cold start. Its purpose is to increase the O2 level in the exhaust to help light off the catalytic converters sooner.
Along those lines, this isn't a "must do it right away" repair.

If the pump has failed, replace the valve also. The usual cause of pump failure is a leaking valve that allows moisture from the exhaust to back up into the pump.

I was coming up with similar codes I think and all it was was a vacuum hose. Infact, replacing said vacuum hose cleared about 3 or 4 of the error codes that were on my car at the time.
