Looking to replace the tires on our 2004 545i, it's a sport package car. Right now we've got Dunlop tires on it, and are looking to get some that are less noisy as they wear. I was thinking michelins of some sort, but i'm open to suggestions....:D

I like the Bridgestone RE750 on my car. I have sold them on the 5 Series and they have worked well. They are quiet and smooth riding and the wear is as good as you will get in a performance tire.

I say Pirelli PZero Nero M&S ($165/$201), ... or if your stingy, BFGoodrich g-Force Sports ($130/$159.)

I would try to stay away from any run-flat tires.

I took off my Run Flats after one month, I could not stand the rough ride. I use my 18" wheel for a winter set (Dunlop Winter Sport M3). I use a 19" wheel for my summer set and I also choose Dunlops, but I am using the Sport MAXX. I have put over 3k on them and the tread seems to be holding up very well and the grip is very good on the car. As for for rain, these tires are very good as well.

Go to Tire Rack and see the numbers, these are ranked #1 (for 19") ahead of Goodyear & PS1's.

Really you just need to decide what you want out of the tire. Then I can make a recommendation that would work the best.
If I can help just let me know.
