hey everybody,

I was an e28 owner until last May, when a honda civic rammed it... I've been looking to get back in to the Bimmer community in general ever since (though I feel like I've never left)

I recently stumbled across a car that sparked my interest, and I wanted you guys' honest, most helpful opinions.

- The car is a 1989 e34 5-series. 100,000 miles, auto (I know, my last bimmer was stick).
- has a few dings, but paint is straight, and the interior leather has no rips
- rear door does not open, car was never in an accident (could be the actuator?)
- passenger side window only works occasionally; doesn't always engage
- all mechanics and everything else are straight
- price about $1,200

What do you guys think? Is it worth it?

The doors have a deadbolt type system as a security feature, sometimes it goes and bad locks the door. Do a search on bimmer.info (E34 site), I think it requires removing the door panel while the door is closed, but it's doable. I agree though, $1200 for a running car is worth it.
