I have some SSR wheels for my car, and its 18x7.5
can I fit 245s on'em? right now it has 225s, and for the back i'd like to put 245s...

Is that advisable? May want to ask in the wheel/tire forum

You might get air leaks if the tire is too big, 7.5 is way to small for the wide tire that you are trying to put.

I have 245s on my rear two LTW reps. I bought the wheels with the tires already on them, and I've had no problems to date.

I think you are supposed to have atleast a 9in wide wheel to run 245's. It is possible, but def. not recommended for the best performance.
^ Nah, 245 is perfect for an 8" rim. 7.5" will look a little pinched, but that's all.

DO A SEARCH. This has been covered how many times?
235 needs MINIMUM 7.5, 8.0 being perfect, 8.5 barely
245 needs at least 8.5 or 9.0
225 needs 7.5, 8.0 max
It might be mountable but that doesn't mean it fits properly. Pinching sidewalls in will cause the tire to bulge creating an uneven contact patch.

sorry I thougth I put it in the tire section heh...
put'em on today, they fit just fine, and not bubbling either... (and I found out they were 8 inch, not 7.5)
i gotta say they look HUGE on a e36 4dr, kinda looks hot :D

So you finally put 245mm on 7.5"? I guess the sidewalls are sticking out like a mofo...
Can you post some pics?

Even if you could--not a good idea.
