Does anyone have any information about installing/running an M30 with Alpina/modern M30 intake with butterfly mounted on drivers side?

Do you mean by closing off the original opening and making a new one on the opposite side?

Yeah, but I didn't mean doing it myself, I meant purchasing an intake like this. Alpina made them for the E30/M30 swap, and BMW used them in some of the last M30's ever made I think in the E34. I have one of these and am just looking to find out if it is worth the trouble installing it. The intake will no longer be on the hot exhaust side.

unless the head is off, it is a major bitch to get at all the nuts.

BTW, that was never factory stock on any m30
