One more stupid question regarding brakes

The Bentley manual says cars equipped with "AST" (all season traction control) can't have their brakes bled unless done at the dealer with their special magical equipment... Do E36 M3's (particularly '98's) have "AST"??? I'm assuming they don't based on the numbers of members up here bleeding their own brakes, but I'm not sure. Sorry for the stupid question.

I asked the same question when I did my brakes. Just go ahead and bleed them like any other car, there is nothing special required...

I remember reading something about the trick to the bleed being bleeding with the engine on, but I can't find the link... And the search engine is hosed...
