ASA AR1 for E34 [Archive] - Bimmerforums

I'm considering ordering ASA AR1 rims (18x8 all-around) for my '95 540i. According to tire rack, these rims have an 18mm offset vs. the 20mm offset of stock rims. Will 2mm make a difference, or are these fine? Will these rims be fine for possible future brake upgrades?

the offsets will be fine and I don't think any big brake kit will exceed 17" wheels, def not 18" or 99% of these guys would not have them.

OMG thats horrible. Were you using wheel locks? They just left the car sitting on its belly!?

Good to know about the offset, the AR1's might be a possibility for me as well.
