My Falken 615's are worn bald and its time for some new ones....I dont know what to get though, and what size to get. The Falkens on my car are 255/40/18's, but i've heard of a lot of people going with 255/35's...right now its pretty much between Pirelli Pzero Nero's, Goodyear Eagle F1's, the same Falken 615's, etc. I need a decently cheap tire that will last decently long (longer than 10k with "spirited" driving) that looks good too. I would really like to see a pic of 255/35's on an 18 inch rim if possible, and maybe get some reccomendations on tires? Thanks for any help!

Of the tires mentioned, I believe the Falken 615 is the best handling. As you, I'm currently using the 615 in 255/40-18. Given the stiff sidewall, I don't think I would want a 35 series for street driving, but that's subjective.

ive just bought some kumho ecsta supra 712 for my car(225/45 R17), waiting for them to be delivered but i have heard really good reviews on them, very cheap for the peformance and durability.

I just put on some Kumho Ecsta SPTs. Too new to give much "real" feedback, but after the 1st couple hundred miles they are VERY QUIET. Haven't tested the limits on the handling...but I don't drive it all that hard anyway. Sidewalls seem a little softer than the Michelin Primacy's I had though. Overall, not bad for a $100 tire. Mine are 235x45x17 on a 530i.
