I never have gotten my car aligned after the coilovers and new RTABs and I want to do it before I get new tires. The car is a daily driver and It isnt tracked, so I'd like the tires to last a while.. Front wheels are 17x8.5 breyton visions et38 with 235/40 pilot ps2's and the rears are 17x9.5 et38 with 255's (still shopping so i dont know what brand).
I am going to take it to the cheapest place I can find so I dont want to trust their specs, I want to tell them what to set it to. With that said, whats the best toe/camber ect settings for me? Car is a '95

If it's DD and you don't want it setup for better handling (than stock is set to) they'll have the stock specs on a computer.

Oh I also highly recommend you go to a good alignment place. I tried one of the cheapo $50 places and I was teaching THEM where the adjustment points on the car for alignment were, it was hell and I was never happy with the alignment.

I think the coilover company has a recommended ride height and settings, but for a street car this is what i have (non-coilover):
front with no load: Left -0.9* camber, 0* toe, Right -1.1* camber 0* toe
rear with no load: Left .04* toe -1.6* camber, Right .04* toe, -1.6* camber
however i would have liked to have had the front at -1.6* camber i just dont have plates.
but just ask SG M3 as he was the one that informed me as to what to do.
and definately take it to a top quality shop that knows bmw/porsche/mercedes and can corner balance the car since you have coilovers, and be ready to spend about $150

You were also supposed to have it corner-balanced when the coilovers were installed. Without that and a good alignment you aren't benefiting much from the c/os, except the car just looks lower.
And yes please go to a reputable alignment tech that has a real alignment machine and knows what a coilover system is. Sometimes a cheap alignment is worse than no alignment.

here is a good set:

people say you should set your front toe to 0, however I run 1/8" toe-out with no problems.
and since there is no front camber adjustment I don't max out my rear the way it says to...I just set the rear to about 3/4* less than the front.
get on some scales and/or set your ride heaight first. then go to a great shop, not a cheap one. try and find someone who will let you watch and help with the settings. you don't want a place that is going to lean on the car to get the print out to read what they want it to.

Where am I going to find a place like that in Jackson Missippi?????? Is there any chain stores that can do this (like firestone or goodyear stores) or do I have to find some specialty shop...... I think any place around here I bring it to will have no idea about corner balancing or anything even remotely in-depth like that, they are just going to look at me like im an idiot. Any suggestions about places that can typically handle this sort of thing?

check your local BF.c forums. ask around the track forums. go onto the Hunter website and find a registered hunter machine user close to you. ask several indies who they use then go visit those shops. it's out there.
