is the euro look on achievable with 5 series offset.. is it possible to still use the 3 series offset.. around et40 and get the euro look?

Why would you want that? :confused
It seems that it would be much easier to get curb rash and it would hurt performance.

Nope To do it right, you need a low-offset wheel...somthing around et20 or so.
Find a set of 17x8 and run a 215/45/17 or if you wanna stagger it, a 17x9-10 with a 235/40/17. Be prepared to roll the hell outta your fenders, though.
Oh yeah...please don't do this unless your car is SLAMMED, too...you really need coilovers and at least a two-inch drop to pull it off.

so theres no way of doing this without 5series offset. you can use like a et40 and have a wide wide rim like 10' and stretch the tires? .. yeah im working on suspension right now

10's going to be too wide with an et40...FYI, I have 19x9.5 with et45 in the back and it touches the inside of the car, but barely.
You could do a 10 with nothing higher than say an et30 and keep the tire smaller.

Front: 17x9 et40 235/40/17 stretched
Rear: 17x10 et40 255/40/17 slightly stretched
It works and looks great.;)

What wheels do you suggest for this?

I find a set of bbs 3 piece wheels that are bent and rebuild and refinish them.
It works very well b/c if the wheel fits on the hub stock, you are only extending the wheel wider toward the fender which can always be flared.

My rear offset is et8. I have the "look" in the rear, but up front, the wheels need to come out more and theres nothing more i can do. :( Its a pain to find the wheel to do it and not look too wierd.

Take a look at tunershop.com. The wheels they sell mostly all have large lips and are made specifically for this look.
