Just finished reading all the searched threads on what you do when the passenger seat isn't hooked up to the airbag sensor mat. My situation is this: Have vaders in the car that weren't stock (had race seats, removed those and put another set of vaders in). The passenger vader didn't have a place to hook up the passenger airbag sensor that is in the car.

I read about a diode you can create to trick the circtuit...I just want to make sure my passenger airbag works and then get the light reset. Can I just buy the mat sensor and install it myself? Any links to DIY's, cost of parts would be great...the threads I found were mostly dealing with doing it to race seats, which is similar, I just don't want to mess anything up as this is a big safety issue!

Ok, I also just noticed a bunch of dis-connected wires hanging from underneath each seat...they are coming from the floor of the car, brown cables hooked up to 4-holed male couplers of some sort...don't know what those are...they look about the same on both sides.

Still no luck with the passenger airbag sensor either....
