Hello,

Well after owning my Zinik rims for about 8 months there is some heavy pitting on the chrome. I used them last summer and then cleaned, and stored them for the winter. They never saw any salt from the roads. I took them out today and they look horrible! What's the warranty on chrome rims? They claim to be triple coated so I would assume that it's supposed to last longer than 8 months and it only got about 3 months worth of use. Do I have any chance of getting them replaced?

Thanks

triple coated means that there is 3 layers on there, but not all chrome. first the nickel plate, then copper plate, then chrome plate........this is what is meant by triple plated/coated.....

yeah, when there are pits in the wheel, chrome tends to look horrible/comes off. Try some chrome polish, maybe that will help...... :dunno

I'd just get them refinished in "plain" silver.

Did you get the wheels from us? We do have a 1 year finish warranty on the chrome wheels we sell.
