What are the laws concerning cars that are built by hand, or from a kit? I know they can be insured, but in states which have emissions laws do they need to pass emissions? Crash testing of some sort? Inspections? What are they registered as? Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Maybe through hotrodding or kit cars?
