Ok so here is the story and I will try to make it short. Last night I bought a bottle of R134 to recharge my AC system with on my 1995 M3. Well anyways I did it fine and I made sure I connected it to the right valve and I charged the system until it was full and wouldn't take anymore R134. Well shortly after I turned on the car and turned on my AC, sure enough it worked and was cold as hell :). Well when I was driving home I tried to press the rear defrost button. It wouldn't light up or come on, then I tried to press the Max AC button, it wouldnt light up or come on either. Then I pressed the AC button and it to wouldn't come on. Well I figured it was a fuse. I checked the fuses and not a SINGLE fuse was blown. It got me wondering what could make all these functions just all of a sudden not work, I mean all I did was recharge my AC! It gets worse. I was driving again and my check engine light comes on. I feel the engine lag a little like the AC just turned itself on. Sure enough it did! Not only was the AC on even when my fan blower was turned off but the defroster and Max AC were on as well! They all turned on at once just randomly while I was driving. I tried pressing them to turn them off but they wouldnt go off. I turned off the car and restarted it and the lights were all off. So i tried pressing them again to turn them on! They wouldnt go on, I was like what the heck. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Someone mentioned something about how it could be my high or low pressure AC switch or something. Either or it was wierd. The wierd thing is that when I was driving and the AC and everything just went on, it wasnt blowing out the vents at all because I didnt have the fan blower on, but the lights for the AC and everything were all on even when my fan blower was off which isnt supposed to happen. So how do I know the AC was on? Well I could feel it click on at the same time the Check Engine light came on with the engine. Trust me I can feel the AC engage and the little loss of power. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or could anyone help me diagnos this any?
Thanks
