Glad to be here. It looks like it may take some time to get more users over here. This looks like a great site! Is it fairly new? Time will tell that hopefully I didn't get the 6er added in vain!

Not sure, but maybe the 3.0CS series and the like may be missing. I'm not sure how many of them are still out there.

Hey BMW635, the 3er forums are the most active, hopefully activity will follow in the other forums. This site is setup really well.

Later.

WOW! The lights on and someone is home at the 6er residence. I stop by but there is usually no one here. Hope there's more traffic.

I'm still on the Bimmer.Org forum for the 6ers and 7series, but someone has started messing up the '02 or the 3series forums, again. BMWPlanet has started to pick up...sloooooowly.

Do you have a picture of the 6er? I imagine there aren't too many in Hawaii!

Just found this board. Part of the Bay Area Sixer Fans group. We have been meeting on a different board and we have one that we use for meet info. If you want pictures of our first run and some great cars go to http://communities.msn.com/BayAreaSixerFans

Looking forward to interacting with this new group of friends.

BMW635 I hope this works! If not, I'll need help.

OK. It worked, sort of. Just click on the link. BMW635, you're right, there aren't too many 6ers in Hawaii. I need to get the bodywork up to snuff. If you know of doors, front fenders and a sunroof, let me know. I need to replace those so the body will be cherry, just like the motor. The car actually has the Racing Dynamics body kit on it, but it's hard to see since the car is dark and the pic was taken from a distance. My interior guy is reupholstering some Recaros for me and then I'll have to redo the back seats. It's a labor of love, especially when you put $$$ into the car knowing you'll never get it back when and if you sell it.

Those wheels are really starting to grow on me. I'm seeing those more and more on 6ers and really like them. Mine needs a little more work. Don't have pics yet. It is pretty much stock and is arctic blue. New England winters have not been kind to the body so I need to get moving on getting that taken care of. But it runs great and occasionally puts that look of astonishment on the faces of these teenagers with their Acuras and other rice burners when I leave them behind!:D Heading off to Europe tomorrow so I'll be off the board for a few weeks! Talk to you all when I get back!

greetings.

I also recently discovered this site / board.

I'm probably the only board member thus far calling Kansas home.

I've got a 1979 633CSi, which I purchased last summer in California and drove home. A memorable road trip in a fantastic car. I was using it for a 100 mile commute to/from work until gas prices went skyward. It has been limited to occaisonal use for the past couple months.
