Hi,
I purchased a set of used HREs and there is some good brake dust baked onto the lip. Its tuff to get into that area to polish it and I was curious if there is a way to disassemble the wheel to clean the lip part.
thanks!

i would contact HRE and get the disassembly and reassembly procedures. who knows, you may need to loose or tighten down in a certain order, certain torque amounts, etc.

i tried my own socket set,
and the closest fit i could find was the
11/32
the 10/32 is too small
9mm is too large
8mm is too small.
theres no 10.5/32 size is there??
edit: I guess it'd be called 21/64? I googled it, but couldn't really find anything. Does anyone know if this size exists?

I took the rim to a shop to get it repaired, and they disassembled it to fix up the outer piece, but I guess they have special tools?
and yeah I agree with the torque specs..
