He offered me $300 for my tranny with 70K miles which I was asking $850 for.

why would i buy your tranny when i live 3 blocks north of an industrail area witch has 7 junk yards.they have a 97m there with 57k on the clock and they want 525 for the tranny and will give me a 30 day warrenty.so instead i should rive to another state and buy one from you with more miles and no warrenty.i can also go to the tranny shop and have my tranny rebuilt for $1000 with a 12 month warrenty and then i wouldnt even have to get dirty

Dude, since you have all of these resources available to you, why are you wasting everybody's time with this thread?

First you beg people to offer you a transmission, and then you low-ball them and brow beat them for being greedy!

im not begging for a transmission.im just looking for one for a reasonable price.to me to buy one off the street for more than the junk yard is selling it for doesnt make sense.buying one for 150 less then i can get mine rebuilt for doesnt make sense either.
