Hey Guys, will these wheels fit without hitting the calipers? They are OE, not replicas...I think i've seen these on some of the member's e36 ///M3's, but I'm not sure if they we OE or replicas...they are style 68...

Why will they look horrible? They look nice on the 330i's...

My dad had them on his old E46 coupe and they look good but are the worst to keep clean.

That style flows better on E46 compared to E36.

Funny, I was looking on ebay last night and came across the wheels the OP had posted only they were black with a polished lip.
Looked pretty hot, but I'd have to see how they looked on an e36M before I'd make the purchase.
But they were replicas, I don't know if that means they are crap or not...

Those are E46 body style. Its all dependent upon how rims look on a given style, not just the rims themselves. Get some BBS RA's over the parallels. Similar style, and much nicer, and more unique.

I did the parallel's over the RA's...there's something about bmw rims...I just think they look better than the aftermarket ones...
I am looking at getting these wheels:
http://performanceplustire.com/products/wheels/applicationID/533/searchType/searchByVehicle/year/1995/makeID/47/modelID/456/x/17/y/4/wheelSize/18/manufacturerID/92/productID/366/wheelDataID/5045#prodAnchor
I talked to one of the guys at this store and he told me that if I run 225/45/18 tires, I won't rub. I am running the (H&R sports w/ Bilstein sports) suspension. I am trying to avoid fender rolling at all costs. The website doesn't mention the offset of the wheels, and I felt that the 9.5 wide wheels were a bit excessive to run withour rubbing. They do offer the wheels with an 8" width as well. I was hoping to run the 8" in the front and the 9.5" in the rear, but I haven't decided to go staggered or not... What do you think? Any advice is appreicated...TIA...BOB

it lists an offest of 25mm for those m parallels. theres no way that is going to work. as for those style 68s you posted. ive seen those on a 328 that lives near me, and they actually look really good on it.

I didn't see the offset rating there...anyway, what offset do you thin kI would need to run those Parallels? At this point, I think I would go with the 8" width all around. BTW, the only reason that I am getting new wheel sis b/c the original Motorsport wheels have bent on me...I really don't get that b/c I do all highway driving...maybe it's the massive power of my engine??? yeah i believe our engines are known for doing that to our wheels :stickoutt
but for an 8" wide, you could go as far as probably a 35mm, but youd probably be safest around a 38-40. for 8.5" i think youd want to go more around 40

(95 ///M3 with Bilstein Sports and H&R Sports)
OK...I need to buy new wheels TODAY...the seal on my front passenger wheel is shot for some reason and 2 of the wheels are bent...I have picked out my wheels:
18x8.5 with 35mm offset
1st: Are these gonna fit without problems...is the offset OK?
2nd: What tire size should I run? Will 225/40/18 do it?
TIA...BOB

why run only a 225?
For what it's worth, I run 225/45/17 fronts and 245/40/17 rear (stock sizes) on 8" F, 9" R wheels (ASA Ar1) ...I al slammed on H&R race and have no rubbing.
If you are set on 8.5" wheels, I'd get a 245/35/18 tire or maybe a 235/35. 225 is just kinda narrow for 8.5" IMO.

What struts are you running? I'm a bit worried about the bilsteins rubbing the tire...
