I have the V1 with stealth install...Invis1 mirror, with remote audio controller. Should I be concerned to use it through VA on my way to Jersey next week, or will it be no problem at all? Dont wanna get screwed and get a hefty fine. The actual V1 unit is hidden and would be almost impossible to find and with the remote audio controller, I can turn it off in a matter of seconds. thanks
Joe
I'm not from virigina - but I've driven through there a few times. If you have the v1 hidden from sight, there's no way they're going to detect it. The vg-2 "radar detector detector" gun can only pick up the interference generated by cheap radar detectors - the v1 has a magnesium case and different circuitry so it is undetectable in that respect. Have fun - but I hear the northern VA judges are being asses recently.

Thanks for the info...Hopefully I wont be needing to see those judges.

See the "Are you invisible" section of the review in the attached link:

Net is that there are two radar detector "detectors" available, VG-2 and Spectre. The Valentine 1 is invisible to VG-2 but IS detected by Spectre.....but the article fails to mention which is used in the state of Virginia.
