how is this stuff???? i bought the 32 oz bottle from the auto supply store... the back of the bottle makes it seam like its pretty nasty stuff?
Warning! Combustible Liquid and vapors. Will cuase eye and skin irritation.
any tips on using it?
will it turn cloudy or hazy when its time to remove it? i am also scared of it becuase it says that if you apply on a warm surgace it can stain?!!?
Any tips guys?
thanks in advance.
also, it says...
A fine hand buffing liquid with high filling characteristics to clean, polish and renew paint prior to waxing. Removes oxidized pigments, acid rain marks, fine scratches and swirl marks
does that mean i dont need a clay bar? and is it safe to use frequently... bi-weekly/monthly?

There's a fellow at Car Care Specialties (http://www.carcareonline.com/) who recommends Imperial Hand Glaze. I believe he applies it twice a year. I've only used it once so far on my car. It really did fill in those swirl marks, but they came back pretty quickly.
BTW, if you take a look at the containers for other fluids you keep in your garage, you're going to see similar warnings. Just exercise the same caution you would with other household chemicals. And don't be afraid of applying it. Just follow the directions on the bottle and keep the car out of direct sunlight.

i never read the other warnings on my stuff in my garage... i want to use it! but its gonna be rainy for the next few days, so i dont want to waste all that time doing the work and it rains!
because when ever i spend a solid 4 hours cleaning my car, it ALWAYS either rains or my car gets shat on within two days!
ALWAYS!!!

also.. i was reading the back it says it removes oxidization so would that imply no need for a clay bar?

The IHG will remove some of the oxidation, but it won't take out the contaminants as well as the clay bar will.

I believe you CAN use water, but I've heard its better to use Quik Detailer, Final Inspection, or some other product along these lines.... they are much more lubricating than water.

damn kyle! the lighting fast answer man!
ok.. ill pick an extra bottle of quik detailer to properlly lube the clay bar!
THANKS AGAIN SIR!
most clay bars come with lube... I believe... I used some clay magic stuff on my car and man it takes FOREVER to do the whole car. Didnt seem to have much of an effect either :az:

It won't have much of an effect on newer cars as it only removes embedded surface contaminants... but on a 8 or 9 year old car it should work pretty well. :D
I see I see... car has a good amount of miles for only being 3 years old so I thought id give the clay a shot since it might have been "exposed" alot :dunno
