Mini Mania announces guest speaker for upcoming Open House and Technical forum.
On Saturday May 6th Mini Mania will be hosting it’s annual Nevada City Adventure and Open house at it’s facility in Nevada City California. A new feature of this year’s event is the inclusion of special technical forums covering a range of topics most important to Mini Cooper and all British car owners alike.
Guest speakers will include:
Lee Grimes of KONI Shock Absorbers who will discuss shock technology and Konis new FSD shock systems.
Marcel Chichak of TDCperformance will present “Tuning the Lucas Distributor leading into Ignition Requirements leading into the development of the 123 Distributor which addresses problems with the first two topics for normal users.
Chuck Heleker will be reviewing the evolution and history of the Classic Mini and how to identify the age and heritage of the Mini.
Joe Pucciarelli of Unichip America will present a review of the “Unichip” ECU upgrade system with an explanation of features and advantages and a question and answer session.
Jamal Ketat will discuss the process of installing A+ gears into a non A+ classic Mini transmission
Ed D’Arata will review the process of maintaining and rebuilding SU carbs with emphasis on the HIF series.
Duane Sampson of StopTech will provide some insights into the technology of braking systems and it’s applications for the aftermarket Big Brake Systems.
