I waxed my car a few weeks ago and in a couple cracks and crevices I got some Wax stuck in there. My car is metallic blue so you can REALLY see the wax. Is there a solvent that would break the wax down? I have tried toothpicks, Qtips, ANYTHING to get the wax out, but it WONT come out. Drivin me nutz.

Paint thinner (not laquer thinner) can disolve a little wax and should be okay on your paint. For a lot of wax, xylene is a great disolving solvent, but test on a hidden area of the finish paint first - it might attack it.

Wet an old toothbrush and gently brush the wax to soften it. Follow up with a soft cloth.

Use a spray quick-detailer to get at wax in crevices. Eagle One, Meguires, Pinnacle Crystal Mist, etc.
Spray on liberally and wipe with a microfiber towel.

You can make your own detail brushes .
using stiff paint brushes different sizes, trim 1/4 off of each side,
use electric tape arround metal part of brush. For both interior &
exterior detailing.
