Greetings!
I am about to install my new M-Parallel replicas on my 2002 E-39 530i. What is the correct torque for the bolts (18 X 8 rims on all four corners) and what are the correct tire pressures for 245-40-18 tires. I appreciate your help!

Wheel torque will be the same, I believe its 100 Nm or about 75 ft-lbs.
tire pressures won't change (they're based on vehicle weight), just check the door jam or owners manual for the factory recommended pressures. You can adjust these a little if you want, I don't think it wil make much difference until you're pushing/squealing the tires though. The factory pressures (I'm guessing 33 front 38 rear?) have a tendency for understeer. However, if your previous tires were staggered, your new setup will already have a reduced tendency for understeer (i.e., more oversteer). Try to measure pressures when the tires are cold, even light driving will heat them up and bump them several psi. A bit of driving with them slightly overinflated won't kill them, you can overfill at the gas station and bleed them off to the desired pressure when you're at home.

Thanks. However the door jamb has the pressure for 16" wheels that the 530 came with. I would think the 18's need a higher pressure to compensate for the lesser sidewall??

No. Follow the pressures on the door jamb. If you have to ask, you don't need to be playing with tire pressures to tune handling.

That's only true if you want to run a higher pressure to avoid the tires from bubbling out easily.

on the new tires i bought, it said the psi it should be filled with; which was 40.
shoiuld i just leave it at 35 like my old 15's?

tires don't have markings on them to indicate what PSI they should be at when on the car. They have a maximum pressure and I think another pressure for when the tire is installed on the wheel ("do not exceed 40psi to seat the bead" or something). Be sure you are well below the maximum pressure when the tires are cold, they can gain 3-6 psi pretty easily.

I believe the torque for wheel bolts are 88 ft/lbs.
