The car is very solid. I've driven several other coupes and mine feels like a new car in comparison.
I drive her easy (under 4k rpm) until I reach 180º+ oil temp and don't really drive very agressive on the street at all. I have tracked the car a few times, but it's only caused me to take better care of the car.
I've change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles with Redline.
Diff and Transmission have Redline fresh fluids as well
This is a very well cared for car. It's been loved (just ask my wife... she'll tell you)
I'm not excited by the idea of letting this car go. So I've been hesitant to list her. I have loved every second of this car and I still look forward to getting behind the wheel with the same excitement I had when I first got the car 3+ years ago. But sadly the time has come. I'm wanting to sell my coupe so I can get an e30 race car.

2000 ///M Coupe. Beautiful imola red with Black interior. 65,000 miles. Sunroof, 5 speed
manual and the very reliable (and powerful) S52 - 3.2 L inline 6 with a 3.23 limited slip.
$23,300
Reasonable offers considered
This is a very solid and well cared for car. It's been loved (just ask my wife... she'll tell you).
I've driven several other coupes and this car still feels and looks like a new car. Modifications
and maintenance have all been performed with the utmost of care. I never intended to sell this
car. So I've treated and cared for it with that in mind.
http://www.bottlerocketadv.com/cargallery/red_black.jpg
The engine oil/temp has always been allowed to warm up to at least 180 degrees before reving
over 4000 RPM. Oil changed every 3,000 to 4,000 miles with Redline. Diff and Transmission
have fresh Redline fluids as well. ATE Super Blue used with regular bleeding... 4x a year. Radiator
uses Red Line Water Wetter mixture.
The OEM head unit was replaced with a more powerful and modern Alpine CDA-9847 with XM and
iPod interface and amber lighting to match stock gauges. Rear roof speakers were upgraded to 5.25"
coaxial 2-way speakers (Alpine SPS=130A) using the stock mounting. However, the real music comes
from the growl of the S52 engine and the exhaust note.
Magnaflow 14815's are installed however the stock pipes are still available (install can be bolted on
in a driveway in less than an hour). Conforti Cold Air Intake with a new filter installed in March 2006
and the Conforti Shark Injector. Ireland Engineering sub-frame bushings have been installed to
minimize rear-end body flex. Upgraded thermostat housing with aluminum, original orange plastic
water pump replaced along with lower temperature fan switch and thermostat.
Other mods include HMS front strut brace, Red UUC Transmission Mounts with Enforcers, UUC Evo3
short shift kit, Stainless steal break lines, Brand new (replaced 3/14/06) Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads,
Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushings (front and rear), New outer tie rods and power steering lines (replaced
2/10/06), Toyo T-1R front: 235/45/17 and rear: 255/40/17 (lots of tread left).
http://www.bottlerocketadv.com/coupe4sale/pic_s52.jpg
Interior mods include UUC RK4 shift knob (illuminated stock knob is available), UUC
Aluminum pedals (dead pedal has ///M Logo) and Tinted Windows with 30% black 3M film
(legal in NC and most states). The tinting job is so well done the inspection guy thought it
was a factory tint.
http://www.bottlerocketadv.com/coupe4sale/pic7.jpg
As for the cosmetic condition of the car, the paint is in very good condition (some of the typical
road rash on the hood). The interior leather and dash are in great shape. The floor mats have seen
better days but the carpet is in like new condition. Being a car that more than 5 years old...
there are a few things that are not perfect. The wind shield has a couple (2) very small chips. There
are a few spots on the front wheel where the finish was worn off when I got some brake cleaner on
it. The front spoiler has some scrapes on the underside but you have to get under the car to see it.

This is a GREAT find for anyone who's looking for a unique BMW that is fun to drive.

Scott,
If I may throw in my 2 cents, if you did not absolutely have to sell your car right away, I would not lower the price than your original asking price. Your car is in excellent condition. Selling a car is just like selling a house. No matter how hard you try or how low you price it, if you don't find your match, there will be no sale. You just need that one buyer that appreciates the value, condition, and rarity of your car. Being that M Coupes are low production cars and not many people are waiting in line to get one, your target market is relatively smaller. The opportunity will present it self. My advice is to put the car on the market, put together good amount of information and pictures, and let the car sell itself.
I bought my Coupe last year after searching for awhile. I paid premium for it and travelled 850 miles to pick her up. Prior purchasing the Coupe, I sold my E36 M3 in a (personal) record breaking 1 week. I put together this site http://members.cox.net/isoesilo/ and let the pics speak for themselves.
Good luck with your sale!

Good advice. It's something to think about.
Thanks for the tip. I thought about doing the whole website thing but decided it was gonna be too much work.
It's not that I have to sell, it's just if I do sell, I'll be able to build or buy a track car much more easily (and quickly) than if I hold on to my coupe.
If I doesn't sell sometime soon - I'm going to keep her. It is a great car and I know I'll end up want it back soon after it's gone.

I'm going to back up what moonluv said. B patient.. it's a rare car and the market is thin for rare cars.
I just sold an even rarer car (Murcielago) and that took some time. I had the car priced VERY agressively, but there's just not a lot of people who want one of those, much less a 2003. It sold, but it took some time and it brought a fair price.
