Power band?

Hello, I am looking at mini's (although far down the road (I don't even have my license yet :bawl ) and my only real experience with cars is my brothers E30 M3 (Bry). Does the mini feed off of RPMs like the M3? Or is this rare? Are all cars this way? Or do some pull more on lower rpms?

Most cars will pull more as you climb in the revs. Generally, the smaller the displacement of the engine, the more this will be true. Take for example the s2000 and e36 m3, they both peak at 240 hp but the m3 will pull alot more lower down than the s2k will. Big american v8s pull like sons of bitches down low, (but they have a redline of somethin like 5.5k :D)
