for those w/ BMW Noah car cover

for those of you with the BMW car cover:

what do you use to clean it? the directions says it is machine washable and to use Fantastik all purpose cleaner, NOT detergent. does this Fantastik cleaner have some kind of special property? i've been unable to find this cleaner locally and was wondering if i could substitute something else in its place.

Hm.. I never knew people wash their car covers. I have the noah too but I never washed it.

6. Where can I find Fantastik All Purpose Cleaners?

The store where you typically buy cleaning products will likely carry Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaners. However, if you still can't find our products, please call us at 1-800-558-5252.

It is my understanding that Fantastik has the same purpose as 409 and the whole host of household cleaners. I don't know that they are similar chemically, though.

This product is from SC Johnson. If your supermarket / Wal-mart / K-Mart / Target carries Windex, I'll bet they have Fantastik. I would stick with the recommended product.
