Hey Guys,
How is everyone? I have a '92 525i and I just installed Koni Adjustables and Intrax SuperSport springs. Why did the car not drop very much? The advertised drop for the springs is: 1.7/1.3 and I measured .8/.75!!!!
I specifically went with this setup instead of Bilstein/H&R because of the "Bilstein Rise" issue and my past experiences with that suspension setup on the '98 M3 I had. On my M, I also did not get advertised drop rates until I went with coilovers. Also, the Intrax springs provide the lowest drop for our cars next to the H&R Cup Kit which will probably never be released.
I know it may settle, but from past experiences, it will not be very much.
What can I do? Are there different spring pads, spring plates, camber kits...etc that might help?
This is a pic of the car AFTER the suspension was installed.
BTW..I am soon going to replace those horrible wheels with either 18" M-Parallels or 19" BBS CH's...so don't make too much fun of them! =)
Thanks in advance!!
Take care,
Andrei
