Ok so last night I'm on the toll road doing 95 in my sisters car, and all of a sudden my laser warning goes off!!! I jam my brakes and get over to the right lane, and thank god their is an exit right there. (because this road is controlled by state troupers not the dps, so I exit and just drive away. That would have been a huge ticket! First time my laser warning ever went off and it saved my ass big time!

nice. I wonder what the weight of a V1 is....im sure some people have avoided enough ticket and insurance money for it to be worth gold or even platinum. I've found state troopers to be a lot nicer than local copz.

Hopefully you did avoid a ticket but be careful with those laser warnings becuase they usually come from the LED third stop lights on Chevy Tahoes and some other SUV.... and not from a legit law enforcement source. They do scare the crap out of you though, don't they? :complain

According to the V1 website, it's 6.4 ounces, gold is about $320/ounce, so you're looking at about $2000. If you include the impact on insurance rates, it probably is worth that much to some people. :)

its the 3rd brake light from a TrailBlazer and usually it triggers the V1 when ur as close at 10 feet from the vehicle, i don't think dallasdriver was that close to a TrailBlazer for the V1 to give a false Laser warning. Most probably it was a cop further down the road nailing some other car and the V1 saved dallasdriver and once again the V1 proved itself that the $400 was well spent :D
Never leave home without the V1 :)
later...
