Well, the time has come and I'm selling my baby. First off, this car is located in Central New Jersey (Manalapan) and is about an hour or so's drive from NYC.
I have several (huge) images of the exterior of the car posted here:http://www.downontheupside.net/car/. I'm working on getting some interior pics posted ASAP.
The car currently has 163k+ miles on it, has been EAT chip'd for the last 15k. The clutch assembly, master cylinder, and slave cylinder all have less then 15k miles on them. The car has been running Mobil 1 since I've purchased it, which was at 142k. The valve cover gaskets were also replaced less then 5k miles ago and it's running Bosch Platinum +4's that have at max 15k on them. The front struts also have less then 5k on them and both strut mounts were replaced at the same time as well. It also has a "short shift" kit installed, but it's the kind where just the bearings below the shifter were replaced etc.
As far as exterior, the car's paint is in ok shape. I've tried my best to restore it, but there's only so much one can do. The interior leather is in good shape and has been conditioned regularily since I've owned it. The driver's side seat does show some wear though and I will post pics when I take the interior shots.
The car has passed inspection and runs great, however I cannot afford to drive it now because of the gas prices and since this is EAT chip'd, it takes super. For those of you who don't know, this is a 3.0 Liter V-8 and it does pack some serious power especially with the EAT chip.
So since I believe in being honest up front, here are some of the things that I know of that are wrong with the car. First off, the SRS light happens to come every so often when you hit a large bump (and I mean large). Also, the rear left window tends to have trouble going up all the way, I suspect it needs to be re-aligned on the track. The paint is on its way out, but not terrible. The cigarette lighter also does not work, but I'm almost 95% positive that's just a fuse issue. Also since the "short shifter" was installed, I've noticed it occasionally pops out of reverse. Just leaving your hand on the shift knob works wonders though.
All and all, thats pretty much the deal with this car. I'm looking to get $2300 for this, but I'm open to negotiations. I have 4 snow tires that were given to me by the previous owner that I've never used, the bentley repair manual, the reset tool, an oil filter, and some other things that go along with it that I want to get rid of. Please feel more then free to email any questions you may have to jscalia AT NOSPAM .. gmail D0t com .
I'd really like to see this car go to an enthusiast, so I'm willing to work with the price a bit. Thanks in advance!
