Its going to be summer very soon and I have the itch to buy another streetbike. My only plan is to sell my car and put 10-11k into an e36 m3 and the other 5-6k into a bike. I am interested in a trade + cash for an m3 or you can just buy the car outright.

1998 540i
136k Kilometers on the car. (Canadian car thats been in GA almost all its life)
Arctic Silver exterior
Black interior
Sport package
Cold weather package (heated seats and steering wheel)
Premium Sound package with In dash business CD player + 6 disc changer in trunk
Xenon headlights
20% window tint

I bought the car 100% stock on january 6th '06 after my previous black 540i was stolen. I am the 3rd owner. Since then i have added the window tint the first of february, M parallel replicas from the wheel exhange with Falken Azenis 245/40/18 and 275/35/18s with 70% tread left. I replaced the tape player with the 01+ cd player. The car has a shift knob out an M5/M3 that lights up (OEM), Hella Celis tails.

The motor is 100% stock and has had the radiator, expansion tank, and water pump replaced. My computer shows im getting 19 mpg average and i drive mainly city. It still has the stock clutch and it is holding fine. The CDV is still in the car. I replaced the tranny fluid with Syncromax when i first bought the car and the tranny shifts great.

The exterior of the car is in good shape. It has a tiny ding above the driver side front fender and a little 1" scratch above the right rear wheel. It has a few little rock chips on the hood. Despite being a canadian car, it has no rust and has been in georgia for atleast 6 years. The car has a clear title which i have in my hands and the car has never been involved in any accidents.

The interior of the car is in great shape as well. The seats show very little signs of wear. Everything works

The things that are wrong with the car:

I think the front left thrust arm is bad. Sometimes i get a shimmy in the steering wheel for a couple of minutes but then it stops. Wheels are perfectly balanced so im thinking it must be that. This only happens intermittently maybe 1 time per drive if that.

Pixels on the gauge cluster are going out so you can only see about half of what is supposed to be displayed

Front cupholders are broken.

I am looking to get 16k for the car as-is or 15k with the stock 17" BBS mesh wheels. I am located in Alpharetta, GA about 20 minutes north of Atlanta. I am not in a rush to sell and am really not 100% about selling yet.

Pics- (i do not have any of the interior at the moment but I will get some)
