Very nice. Getting used to the gauges yet?

It seems that any brand/model they touch instantly becomes extremely desirable....
Congrats on the fine auto!:love1

I highly doubt that! Case in point is the 745Li.
Thanks for the congrats. I'm used to the gauges as I've been driving a Cooper around for 3 months.

I should clarify....I meant the brands that they purchased (even the ones they quickly sold, like Rover, as they at least got their hands on designing one model)
I'm eager to see what they do with Rolls-Royce....
Now, within the BMW brand, I must admit I'll have to warm up to the 745 (too "bulgy"). But come to think of it, I had to warm up to almost every redesign since the e30 (major exception - the Z8....I think our neighbor at the cottage has to wipe my drool off from his every weekend!). Perhaps in time, I'll see one on the road and actually say "wow, that's beautiful".....but perhaps not.:laugh

Nice car, love the color. I was at the dealer Sat and checked out the cloth for the first time. :redspot Mikey like.. I have the lapis blue leather in my car, but if had the choice of leatherette or cloth would choose the cloth.

Very nice... before I saw those pics I was just thinking the Mini was "ehh... okay" ... that looks stunning though :) Congrats! What are you going to do with the Red Cooper? You have enough cars for all of Hawaii dude ;)

Kevin, the red Cooper is gone! It went back to thte dealer as soon as this car came in. My money was refunded and all I did was come up with the difference.
Snapper, welcome aboard! Your name is familiar as I post on Roadfly and Mini2.
I took what was available and I love the cloth! I thought about the leather and it has a weird texture that I can't get used to. It seem kind of plasticized since therer is no grain to the leather. But then again, te leather with the little nubs is pretty cool!

Thanks Chris! Just wait until the dead of winter. Then I'll start posting pics of beautiful sunny days, sunsets and women in bikinis.

Beautiful Bryan! I love that color... it was definately high on my list until I decided on the MC :dunno
I love those wheels too, so much better looking than the S Lites! If you EVER think about getting rid of them let me know... they're impossible to find as almost everyone that gets the MCS gets the sports package.
How prominent is the difference in acceleration? I know is probably big but is it HUGE? Does the 6spd help get the revs down while cruising or is it just closer ratios? I've noticed that I can't go much faster than 85-90 for another few hundred miles because I'm pushin 4k in 5th :devillook
Sorry for all the questions... I'm needy :D And yeah.... seriously sweet car:buttrock

Wheels: They're great, but I'm prpbably keeping them. If I find a set, are you interested?
Difference: Yes, there is a difference. Not really noticeable in @ town driving as you keep the revs low. On the freeway, now that's a difference. 6th gear is just for cruising. I like to keep the car in the powerband so I keep it near 2500 for some fun. Just cruising, I 'll dump it into 6th. I keep forgetting about 6th!

Sigh.... isn't that magical? I don't have any money right now. I'll be interested as soon as I pay my uncle back the 300 I still owe him for the car (I told him I'd pay half and I came up 300 short... aint that some shit?) Then I still need to scrap up the money for the wheels  :dunno
